The Hotel Puerta de España is located in the north commercial area of La Jonquera, near the N-II, between exits 1 and 2 of the AP-7.
Our location is ideal for long trips where you need a break before resuming your journey to the desired destination.
How arrive by car:
From the South (from Spain to France): Coming from the AP-7 north, take Exit 2 and follow the N-II towards France until you find the hotel.
From the North (from France to Spain): Coming from the AP-7 take exit 1 joining the National II (Highway) until you find the hotel.
How to arrive by public transport from airport:
From Girona Airport (80km): Coming from the AP-7 towards the North, take the 2nd exit and continue through National II towards France until you get to the Hotel. It will take 50 minutes.

Dalí Theatre-Museum (20 km):
Opened in 1974, it was built on the ruins of the ancient theater of Figueres and contains a broad range of works that describe the career of Salvador Dalí (1904-1989). From its earliest artistic experiences and his surrealist creations to the works of the last years of his life. The Dalí Theatre-Museum must be seen as a whole, as the great work of Salvador Dalí, and everything in it was designed by the artist with the aim of offering visitors a real experience and immersion in his captivating and unique world. Also shown are works by other artists that Dalí wanted to include: El Greco, Maria Fortuny, Modest Urgell, Ernest Meissonier, Marcel Duchamp, Wolf Wostell, and Evarist Pitxot Antoni Vallès, among others.
Roses, Costa Brava (40 km):
Is an essentially Mediterranean town with a notable tourist and seafaring tradition. Situated in a unique natural environment north of the Costa Brava, its origins date back to the eighth century BC with the arrival of Rhodes and the founding of the Greek city of Rhodes. A town full of charm and new sensations to discover, a place to enjoy nature, culture, traditions and historical legacy.
Ampurias Ruins (33 km):
Ampurias Ruins are located northwest of the province of Gerona and present the archaeological remains of different peoples in the area, dating back to the year 550 BC by the occupation of the site by Greeks. There are three areas in the visit: Palaiápolis (oldest Greek city), Neapolis (modern Greek city) and finally the Roman city. You can visit the remains of the Greek city (agora, market, church ...) and Roman (forum, Roman walls, houses, streets ...), as well as a museum in which to observe the excavations and sarcophagus, ... currencies of different ages and audiovisual presentations on these cultures. Fairs, trade and market were mainstream here for its proximity to the Mediterranean.
